This Privacy Policy describes how MPK Tec AB ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with your use of the Punch Clock app (the "App").
Our core principle is to protect your privacy. The App is designed to process and store your information primarily on your own device. We do not operate any servers to store your work shifts, breaks, notes, or report data, and we do not intend to provide our own server storage.
The App primarily stores only the information that you create or choose to use in the App.
Work shift, break, note, and most settings data are stored locally on your device using Apple's local storage mechanisms.
Some limited technical information, such as the trial start time, may be stored in Apple Keychain on your device to work more reliably even after reinstalling.
We generally do not have access to this information and it is not automatically transferred to MPK Tec AB.
Reports and PDF files are generated locally on your device. If you choose to export or share a report, it is done through Apple's standard iOS sharing features.
You decide if, when, and with whom a report is shared. We do not automatically access the contents of exported reports.
If you enable notifications, the App may schedule local reminders on your device, for example if a work shift has been active for a long time.
These notifications are created and handled locally on the device. We do not receive any notification data.
In-app purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not have access to your payment card details or other payment information.
The App may verify purchase status and rights via Apple's system to determine whether PRO features should be available.
Apple acts as an independent data controller for payment- and App Store-related processing under its own terms and policies.
The App has no own account system and does not require registration to use. You do not need to create an account to use the App.
We do not provide any cloud storage for your work shifts, breaks, notes, or reports.
The App does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools for marketing or profiling.
We do not sell your personal data and do not share your work data with third parties for advertising purposes.
If you choose to contact us by email, for example through the App's feedback function or directly via our support address, we process the information you send us, such as your email address, message content, and any attachments.
This processing is done to answer your question, provide support, troubleshoot issues, or handle feedback. The legal basis is normally legitimate interest or performance of a contract/request.
Please do not send more personal data than necessary in support inquiries.
Because the App's core data is typically processed locally on your device by yourself, much of the usage occurs without MPK Tec AB processing the data centrally.
When we do process data, for example in email contact or support cases, it is normally based on:
Data stored locally in the App remains on your device until you delete it yourself, uninstall the App, or otherwise remove the information.
If you contact us by email, we may retain correspondence as long as needed to handle your case, comply with legal obligations, or protect our legal interests.
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of personal data that we actually process about you, as well as in some cases the right to object to processing or request data portability.
Because App data is typically stored locally on your own device, you largely manage deletion and modification directly in the App or by removing the App from the device.
We strive to design the App so that as little data as possible leaves your device. Still, no technical solution is completely risk-free.
You are responsible for protecting your device, your Apple account, and any exported reports, for example through device lock, passcode, and secure handling of shared files.
The App is not specifically directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through our own backend services.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.

This Privacy Policy covers how information is handled in connection with the App and our own possible processing. It does not govern Apple's processing of information within the App Store, StoreKit, iOS, or other Apple services. For such processing, please refer to Apple's own terms and privacy policies.
